Rainier Jubilee Variations

#1

Post by NatBoh »

I have heard there are some odd variations in the Fiesta set of the Rainier Jubilee series cans. (Think of the Wind Tunnel cans....)
Specifically the "Diamond Jubilee" can has a variation on the back of the can around the diamond rings. I have not seen one of these.
Can anyone share a pic of an example?

Thanks!

Natboh

Jubilee cans came out in 1953 which was the 75th anniversary for the brewery. The first version of the can included the dates.

Did the Christmas cans come out in 1952 just before the jubilee for the holiday season and were they made in 1952 and 1953 only ?? Tom

The cans with the dates as pictured above only came from the Spokane Brewery. Didn't see that mentioned above so don't get frustrated trying to find one from Seattle.

You had me curious Scott, so I checked and found both with and without dates from the same first Seattle set.

Interesting - I could have sworn they were just from Spokane. Now I'll have to go and look at mine.

Carl - you should post your variation with the skier as well since we are talking about little variations in the designs of which there are only a few.
