For those of you who use Craigslist, what do you think?

For several years now, I have been advertising shows on Craigslist for the Patrick Henry and/or Michigan Chapters. Up until now, I have never had a problem. Recently, I posted ads all over Michigan and border areas (Toledo for example) to get people to mark their calendars now for the upcoming Winterfest show in January. I have never had a problem with this before but my ads keep getting flagged. Today, seven ads got flagged out of the roughly 20 ads I had. I thought maybe the problem was the link I had in the ads for the Michigan chapter web site so I removed it but ads keeping getting flagged. They may be getting flagged from users of Craigslist or they may be getting flagged by Craigslist. There is no way to discern which. I read the Terms of Use but I do not see any problems. I looked at the Craigslist forum but it does not look very useful. Between the sex ads and the angry people, I doubt if using it will yield a solution.

So, I am coming to all of you. What do you think? Here is the ad.

I should probably clarify. When I say the ads are being flagged, I mean flagged for removal.

All the ones I posted were under Antiques. I could try Collectibles but I am not sure why it would help. The whole thing seems strange to me.

Could be you need a statement about no beer being served so any age can attend VS only over 21.

Sometimes "rivals" will have your ads pulled.

I have considered the possibility that somebody is just being mean. I would like to think that is not the reason for this but maybe I am being naive.

Anyone can flag anything on Craigslist. It is usually somebody who is tired of seeing all your listings or somebody who just wants to be king of the interwebs in his mommy's basement. I have had this issue before for postings that advertised area beer shows. The only way to combat this is to check your listings regularly and repost them as soon as they are pulled. Also, see if the other chapter members can post similar ads as well.
