@specks169 Don....great find....Think it would have been a true flat top? Have not seen a Stout flat top is why I ask......or for that matter any Detroit flat top......

Same thing with the Big Cat Malt Lager paint over. I have one that's a flat. Obviously the top label was relatively common as a flat but the under label wasn't.
The federal tax code is 10 times bigger than the Bible with none of the good news

Looking for Lucky Lager with the date 2-3-58. Will trade heavy for one...

been discussing these with zoinkss earlier this week, very cool it turned out to be from Detroit as hoped! Nice one, Don. I thought they were just tab book cans and Land of Lakes used flats later than most-
also found one with a rubout lid Kansas A.B.C. Tax Paid. Ziphippie

Here’s another you discussed more recently Greg- https://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/vi ... p?t=39432I see two #446 canning plant numbers on this Metbrew, dead giveaway to rub this one out! One #446 near the bottom matches the brown color of the Metbrew, the other #446 near the top is black. I can clearly see an upside- down Old Ranger ‘embossing’ under the Metbrew. Ziphippie
