This has not received an acid bath. It was in a box in an attic since it was dug in the mid 70's. In fact this can came very close to becoming just another "BIGFOOT" sighting. I had originally culled it out when I was looking through a few boxes of assorted beer cans that someone wanted off there hands so I put a few of the rusty ones aside in a separate box with the intention of tossing them in the trash when I got home since I only collected Grade 1 at the time. I must have had a lot going on back then because they wound up in storage with the others I had acquired. I also found a nice Pabst Bock 12 oz FT OI in there as well. Someone had a good day of dumping. I can only imagine what other treasures were left behind but I am happy to have saved at least one for fellow collectors to enjoy.

Was this the quart cone that had the lid cut out ? That is super clean. I've never seen an OI other than the one I have but maybe others can comment. I know 1 difference is that bock on grade one says 32 oz at the bottom and the version I have says Contents 1 Quart. Thanks everyone for commenting.

I'm not sure if it is a Cone or not I just saw it on Pinterest and Assumed it is a Flat Top...I thought it's Cool and Clean!

A lidless quart cone in top condition does exist in a collection, so it seems likely that the can pictured above is that can.

That is a Lilek photo that I have marked as 'fake' in the OI book.
You can see that the '1' has been altered to a '3' to create a 32 oz. where there was once a 12 oz.
