New Section: Donation Station

#1

Post by DaveNH »

We have added a new section called Donation Station in the Advertise section.

http://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=368

If you have cans you'd like to donate or are looking for donation cans please post in this section. Thanks to MarkfromIndy for posting the initial thread/idea and for Beercanpete for suggesting a new section. The section is open to everyone to encourage donations and to help the hobby.

Thanks. Dave

I think we envision this a Forem to put together guys that want to DONATE cans and people that would like to RECEIVE them. For example, there have been people that would like to donate their collection as opposed to throwing them away. They would hope a new collector would enjoy receiving them and get them interested in the hobby. This will be a area where we can facilitate that. Anyone wanting to donate cans should post them here and then anyone who would like to receive them can chime in..... :smt023

This is a great idea. I hate to see cans go into the recycle bin if there is somebody out there that would like to put them on their shelf.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

No. It's an unedited screen scrape.

I see the problem. Look very carefully at my screen scrape. When you took your screen scrape, you were in the "root" of Buy/Sell/Trade. From that point, click on Advertise. When you do, you will see my screen scrape which shows Can Shows, Trading Post, and two Donation Station. I think you actually created not one or two but actually three Donation Station sub-forums. If you delete the two in my screen scrape (with no posts) you will be left with only the one (with DaveNH's post).

Good luck!
