I rarely get a chance or luck to be able to get my hands on any of the Meister Brau Happy Days set cans. This week has been a good week and I was able to get my hands on two. I noticed when I put them side-by-side that there was a noticeable difference. I noticed that they were two different canning companies. One being Continental and the other American. Both are from the "The Custom Brew" set.
I don't have many other Happy Day set cans (6x total) to compare it to so this answer might be a simple. I did look in the BCCA updated Supplement. All cans posted with additional photos are American cans. The noticeable differences on the cans other than the canning companies are:
- Gold around the Meister Brau shield/logo is semi-gold
- Lettering on the can is a duller brown
- Colors on the people on the can is much duller
Was the "The Custom Brau" set made in both canning companies?

Re: Meister Brau Happy Days set can question
There is technically 4 sets of Happy Days cans.. yes both the 1957 Pilsner beer and the 1958 Custom Brew cans were made by both can companies you mentioned Continental and American can company. and yes they do look different .. the colors are a little different and the American cans have the Keglined copyright .. so if you're a fanatical purist Meister Brau collector you could have 40 cans total in the sets added up.
