Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
Nice! never Even seen one in person. Let alone owned one and to upgrade is quite impressive. Congrats!

Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
Job well done..I am so jealous.
So if my memory is right there are only 7 known...
1..Clay T bar find in Chicago around late 60' or early 70's
2..Dan B find around 1999 in Louisiana
3..5 off grade cans found in Eastern Texas in the 1980's
To upgrade is basically impossible

Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
Pretty sure the downgrade was mine that sold in my recent auction. Nice to see that it's getting around! It complained for years how boring it was on my shelf stuck between the same Salute and Rheinlander for year after year. I'm sure it's happier now getting love and attention from so many.....and even meeting one of it's own kind!

Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
Yup, I can confirm the Rosalie downgrade (left can) now resides in NH.
Thanks. Dave

Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
It's the can that was kept by the guy who dug them in Texas. He sold it on eBay about 20 years ago. The Lewandowskis wanted it, despite having one already, so I worked out an arrangement with them whereby I wouldn't bid against them and would get whichever can they didn't keep. I sold all my Manhattan cans a couple years later, and the Rosalie went to Longopener. I'm not sure where it's been since Chris parted with it, but it's nice to see it again.

Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
My Chicago OIs I had back in 1992. I got the Rosalie from Herman Oswald in 1987.....which went to Rand eventually.

Re: TWO ROSALIES. !!!
I had the one on the left also, but it wasnt an upgrade because it has a big hole on the left hand side. I traded it to the Lew Bros.... The one on the right is all-orignal and I believe Rich still has it, but it could be the one that Dan Baker found and sold.

Three more Manhattan left to get and virtually no chance of getting them...your post .
I am so curious of what 3 cans you are missing? Tiger OI is obvious. Manhattan Bock is super tuff and the Ale is equally hard to find as well...
Curious minds what to know...
