If we made it I am about 98% sure Scott made it OK.
We are all waiting for an update. I will be there Saturday and you bet I will be meeting up with Scott and Mel this time!
We are having a house built in Longs which is 6 miles from the RV lot so will check on progress. We have or had a 100+ year old oak and I hope it is still there!!!

Just sold the house in CT. Friday so once again after a few years of travel we are now having another new adventure but best part is within a year the collection will be back up on the walls.

Ok..quick math.. Matthew put 5" in my old house at 3ft.
New house built at 6ft. As of this morning water was 15ft deep in my yard. That leaves uhhh...nothing. River still rising until crest Thursday or Friday. Took my Pabst cans to higher ground which probably isn't high enough.😢

Dude, you guys obviously got crushed WAY harder in NC then we did in SC. If there is anything we can do to help please let us know. I can’t imagine what you must be going through.....

Thanks Scott!... sometimes it just is what it is. We're very fortunate to have left when we did. Some great friends have taken us (and 3 cats) in. It's been one hell of a go. I can't believe I'm even awake right now. I'm slam wore out.

Looks like even our new house being built survived. No water but close so now know why it's named River Haven. We are in the tree line to the left and that is Rt. 9 in Longs, SC.
Water crested today they say?
