$52 to ship a can.
Does the shipping price of $52 seem to high for this can.

It depends on how badly you want the"rare vintage" version.

Why, yes it does. Completely nutty shipping charge from an ebay newbie. Nutty price, too.

Right, let see 100% positive feed back and a whopping (1) item sold. There some mathematical formula to figure this out ?oldindiapaleale wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 12:35 am Why, yes it does. Completely nutty shipping charge from an ebay newbie. Nutty price, too.

Well, the seller has been on Ebay since April. So, he does have all those months of experience.Leon wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 11:43 pm Does the shipping price of $52 seem to high for this can.

Re: $52 to ship a can.
That guy had been running that can with a $400 BIN with $20 shipping. I guess he needs to "cover" his recent discount to $350.

Re: $52 to ship a can.
Boxes, packing material, gas to the Post office, premium shipping insurance, eBay posting fees.....it's surely all factored into that $52...oh and least we forget that soon taxes will/might have to be paid on internet sales.......

“Grand Prize Beer Can. Researched and evaluated by Breweriana. Suggested price by Breweriana. Shipped ”
I like how the seller makes it seem like he submitted the can to Breweriana.com and their team of experts carefully evaluated the value of the can. Not at all like he looked up sold prices on much nicer examples.

Nah that's not too much, he uses extra bubble wrap.

Re: $52 to ship a can.
There was another eBay seller who had a group of sodas that I might have had an interest in, and he wanted something like $50 to send 33 cans. When I politely tried to point out that it couldn't possibly be the cheapest way to send the cans to me, he replied with a message full of obscenities.

Re: $52 to ship a can.
I guarantee you that I'm not the seller. And, so far, no member of the Grand Prize chapter is admitting to being the seller either.

Re: $52 to ship a can.
Seems way to high to me unless you are buying new boxes and bubble wrap from Home Depot or U-Haul and insuring it for way more than the purchase price. Sending it registered mail seems to be the most secure and economical way if you want to insure it for a high amount.
