Some Luck in Northern New Mexico

#1

Post by Kotto »

Had some luck north of Albuquerque on vacation last week. A few dents to knock out of the Pabst and Coors. The Storz and Schlitz have dust and dirt on them that may date back to the 1930s. Then got together with CanManDan to see his awesome collection, and shared a few beers at Marble Brewing Co.

Marion and I then ventured over to another brewery suggested by Dan, Kilt Check, and had a great time there too. Just got home this evening, and travel-weary, so the details can wait....

Dan, I didn't get a photo of the Silver State, so post away if you wish!

I notice a difference between my shelf can and the two that I just found. Both are "Patents Pending", but the positioning of the "CONTENTS 12 FL. OZ." and other fine print at the bottom of the back face differ quite a bit from each other. Both differ from the more common "others pending" version with Keglined written along the seam (not pictured here). The can on the right is the one I just acquired.

Curious which version of the two pictured might be most common? If your so inclined. please check your collection and let us know!
