Had a great time at the Zion Crossroads Show today!
I took a friend to the show today who knew nothing about the hobby previously, but he came away a believer and with some nice cans, too!
He is hooked now! We got to meet quite a few members of the Rusty Bunch, as well as some other fine folks. Great Times!

Definitely a nice start! Just curious, what's on the back of the Bally quart? Is it one of the two toughies??

That's one of the more common variations. The really tough ones are the "Just For Fun" and especially the "Handy Way to Order." I didn't even know that one existed until recently. These make a really cool set!

Re: Had a great time at thye Zion Crossroads Show today!
Zion was a great time again this year. The BCCA had a BOD meeting there as well so it was a record turn out! I had a great time. TRADED about $750 worth of items so that was an unexpected bonus.
I was one of the first guys setting up on Saturday morning and unloading a double sided Gerst porcelain sign when a random walk in guy chats me up. He asked "Do you like signs?" I'm like "Sure I like signs!" He follows with "I have one in my truck if you want to take a look? I'm not sure what the name of it is but I think it starts with L" He OBVIOUSLY has my complete attention as well as also Tom Legaret's (BCCA past Pres) who was setting up near me. We all make an immediate bee line for his truck. Turns out to be an super nice Lubeck sign! GREAT condition. I am dealing with the guy and I know I can't even flinch in negotiations or Tom, who is standing behind me, will snap it up in a second...lol. I quickly negotiate a solid deal for it and am EXTATIC! Beautiful sign, great price, and I haven't even set up my table yet! I take it back inside and continue setting up. I made the mistake/had the good fortune (depending how you look at it) to have it sitting on my table during the show so I could "crow" about my good fortune a little. Everyone is suitably impressed and as I should have foreseen, someone is going to ask you how much you would be willing to sell it for. I didn't want to really sell it as it was in super shape and pretty cool. I WAS there to sell stuff so when asked, I put a fair but solid number on it. The buyer to my dismay (kidding) accepted my offer! I made a tidy profit and the buyer was still right side up on it but I can't help but think about how it would have looked on MY wall. The new owner is a great guy I an I know he will really like it. All in all it turned out to be a pretty good whirl wind story I will retell many times in the future sitting in some beer soaked hospitality room at 2 in the morning at another show. The story had it all; a killer lucky score from a walk it, I was able to tell everyone about it and make them wish they were up a little earlier (BMOC), and then the end to the story with the sale. Beginning, Middle, and a happy ending for the seller, the buyer, and myself... FUN!
Below is the Lubeck sign and my take from the show. Almost all Quarts! One of the Edelweiss Secret Brews is not listed in the book!

Nice looking cans! I started to buy a nice quart, too, but by the time I contemplated the purchase, and went back to get it, it was gone.

I saw the Lubeck sign and it was amazing. While I’m glad the buyer ended up with it, I would of had to put that one on the wall. The condition was stunning.
Congrats to both the seller and buyer!
