Orbit beer with brewery transition soft top
Really happy to be able to get this amazing Orbit beer brewery transition can with a soft top back to sunny Tampa thanks to a tip from Greg G.@Lovegun. He gave me a heads up that the can was recently posted on one of our sponsors pages Dan's Breweriana page (https://breweriana.com) PS Go visit them as much as possible. The can is likely a transition from the closure of the Tampa brewery and cans pushed pushed to the Miami brewery. Orbit produced flat tops at both Tampa and Miami but only continued pull tabs in Miami including the zip top which I was lucky enough to recently get from @Leon

That's a beauty Keith!
Make sure you keep the dehumidifier running......don't want that to get any nasty spots from all that hot humid weather you have down there.

Wow, beautiful. I'll bet not too many of those around, especially in that condition. It definitely belongs in a Florida collection.

Flats, cones & early tabs. Ohio cans, ultra clean cans & shine. East coast cans. Rare rust. And, whatever else catches my eye.

Re: Orbit beer with brewery transition soft top
I didn't know it came with that lid
I didn't know it came as a zip.
I have much to learn.
Glad to see that one go 'home'. Congrats!

Re: Orbit beer with brewery transition soft top
Speaking of Orbit, Is it just me or does the zip look like a color variation?

Re: Orbit beer with brewery transition soft top
A lot more green than blue for sure.
Are there zips with the more blue graphics? If so, then I would call it a variation. Certainly looks uniform around the can.

Re: Orbit beer with brewery transition soft top
I thought maybe with one being a Continental most likely produced in the Tampa plant and the other being a Crown that they would be some color variation but putting the Tampa flat top (Continental) next to the Miami flat top (Crown) there is no color variation. My flat top (Continental) I have above has the same color as the others flat tops. The zip top from Miami (Continental) also has the same colors. Looks like the tab top is an obvious different color.....
Also, I'd be curious if there is a zip top with a soft top bottom version out there.......

The zips are pretty tough to find in my opinion. I wonder what a mint 1+ Orbit Zip would cost? LEON.
