I need quotes for a SummerSwap press release

I need to make a press release for this summer's SummerSwap show in Frankenmuth. A good press release should include a couple ready made quotes a journalist can incorporate into their article.

I need your help. Have you been to SummerSwap? Can you share some thoughts about your previous trips to SummerSwap? I am interested in quotes from anyone but I am especially interested the further away you live. A quote such as, John Smith of Cincinnati Ohio says, "blah blah blah" is more impressive than a quote like, John Smith of Flint Michigan says, "blah blah blah". Showing people are willing to travel longer distances gives more credibility to the show.

Here's one:

"Noted can collector Billy Devine will be travelling all the way from the state of Maine to attend this year's SummerSwap in Frankenmuth."
That's got to be a thousand miles distance.
Will also be attending the biennial convention of the National Association of Letter Carriers in Detroit the week of July 16-20th and hope to spend some time while in Michigan during the week after the convention, to see some collections and partake of some dumping expeditions.

Billy, thanks, that is a good start. That would be the statement that leads into what you said. For example:

Noted can collector Billy Devine will be travelling all the way from the state of Maine to attend this year's SummerSwap in Frankenmuth. "I have heard good things about this show for years and I am really excited to finally be able to attend this year."

This is just an example of course. If I asked you why you are coming to this show, what would you say?

Well yes, I have read good things about the show here on the RB site. Being that I am a convention delegate coming to Detroit, I just happened to see the ad for SummerSwap in the BCCA magazine and where my convention ends on Friday morning it just seemed like a good idea to spend a few more days in Michigan and attend one of great midwestern can shows.
I was in Michigan back in July of 2011 (see http://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/vie ... 11&t=18240) and had lunch at a microbrewery in Frankenmuth, so naturally I'm looking forward to being there again this July.

The National Association of Letter Carriers, of which I am a member and delegate are having their national convention in Detroit. About 10,000 city letter carriers will be meeting at the Cobo Center.
