Burned down Crack House find.

#1

Post by Leon »

Not sure if I got this post in right section. should it be in bottle section or dumping section or here? Anyways, Drove around some run down neighborhoods last week after work. Looking for cans or bottles. Found a few bottles under a Burned down house crawlspace. One in Particular was really cool. A 1 Gallon Silver Springs Water Bottle from Detroit. LEON.

The Detroit Dossins bottle next to it has a 1920's Art Deco look to it & I did find a Beer Bottle embossed Tech on the bottom & some other beer bottles not embossed. SO, I'm going to guess anywhere from 1920's-30's. LEON.

P.S. If you supersize the last pic you'll see some of the bottles laying by hole near crawlspace, kinda lower left side of pic.

Yeah, I was in the same area a year or 2 ago when I stopped to look under a house. only 2 abandoned houses left standing in the middle of the block. one old house on the right (roughly 1920's) & a newer house on left (roughly 1950's). I get out & start walking up to the older house on right to peek under Porch ect, ect, when two really creepy scarry looking bandana wearing drug dealing gang member looking African American guys walk out of the other house & are standing on the porch starring me down. Gave me the creeps so I quickly turned around & walked to my car & Vacated the area. Drove by those same 2 house's the other day but didn't stop. LEON.

I wish I had your nerve Leon. A Google search makes it seem like the 5 gallon is more common. There's a gallon on eBay with no bids (as of last night) but it's hard to tell if it's cracked. Very cool as I said b4!!

Yeah, I seen the one on ebay & have it in my Watch List. Curious to see what it may get. I already have 2 different ones in my collection before I found this one so I don't think it's to rare. LEON.

I assume you have a ccw?

If not, you might want to seriously consider it. Things can turn ugly rather quickly these days. Just saying'.

And I agree with my friend Ohio, Leon. Time to start carrying a Glock or something.
