Spring Thaw Take
Spring Thaw was really good again, even if it seemed to get off to a slow start. I bailed out on Blue/Grey four years ago, and Spring Thaw continues to be a suitable replacement because of the large Eastern contingent.
I scratched three of my collecting niches very well. The J-Spouts are a replacement for a sold can, an upgrade and the recovery of a can which used to be mine. The Valley Forge Bock is the first one, assuming USBC-OI has them sequenced properly, and is a Stark can to boot. The Gunther's Ale is a can I never dared to dream of owning.

Re: Spring Thaw Take
Very nice Boston Light. Wowza on the Gunther's! Looks like it just rolled off the line. Great to meet you and chat.
Thanks. Dave

Re: Spring Thaw Take
Thanks, guys. It was nice to meet the three of you and to chat for a while . . . even if I didn't realize Edward was "OMT" until now! I hope to meet Rand one day also (Danny's local, so I've known him for decades).
The Gunther's Ale required some luck. I was allowed to peruse a box of cans that was held off to the side for another collector. There were two cans in the box that were of tremendous interest to me, so I commented that I would gladly take either one if the other collector passed. The Gunther's Ale didn't quite meet his condition criteria, so I was able to get it.
Larry and Jeff do a great job on this show, and Keith and the rest of the RB team do a phenomenal job across the board. Thanks to everyone involved!

Ed,
I missed Cabin Fever, but it looks like you scored enough for both of us! I'll definitely see you there next year.

Re: Spring Thaw Take
Marc, glad that other guy passed on the Gunther's Ale and you scored it!
Always looking for West Virginia breweriana from Fesenmeier and Parkersburg.
12 oz. US flat tops.
Well I woke up this morning and got myself a beer,
The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
