I have done 2 tole art paint over cans but they were High Pro cones..Both were Cardinal from PA. I used Acetone to remove the outside paint and paint remover on the seams, rims, cone and worked out well.
Now I have a Crowntainer w/issues and have never tried this before. I know crowns are tuff to clean as dumpers but this seems as a win win using Acetone....Advise will be very appreciated as I really don't want to screw this up..
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Re: advise on paint over crowntainer
My advice is... damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!
Maybe someone has experience with this but can't say I've seen a tole painted CT....but if you are only looking to remove the tole paint I wouldn't see why there would be a different process.
