Rudweiser is prominently shown in the Fort Wayne video. I remember selling him a Budweiser Prohibition 8 ounce paper label malt can for $20. He was over joyed. roomed with him for a night in Lexington as well. A very nice guy.

I don't know Rudy very well, but I do remember him when I first setting up a table at the breweriana show, He asked me " If I had a Busch can with a circle on it. Which I don't have. I do wondering if he ever gotten that can over the years ?

Damn, Rudy was my roomy at the last 2 Blue/Gray shows I attended. Also, if memory serves, at a Canvention too. Time catches up with all of us at one time or another....

Man, that sucks. Really nice guy. I would always talk story with him at Blue Gray and at the couple of Canventions I attended. Any Idea how he died? I remember him telling me (can't remember now) how old he was and I was pretty shocked. Thought he was younger(ish).

RUDY WILL BE MISSED. IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE HIM EVERY YEAR AT BLUE GRAY!
I have had the great privilege of dumping with 68 current and former Rusty Bunch members, to date. Got to hit the woods of Virginia with Charlie Smigo recently.
