Kings beer

#1

Post by bodean »

While out shopping for Christmas gifts for my wife I stopped in a little local shop called Flashbacks. It's full of everything you remember from the 60's and 70's from clothing to rotary dial telephones. While I was looking around I saw a selection of a few beer cans. I saw the typical Billys, MASH, JR, etc. but I found this can in the mix - a clean Kings Beer flat top, it's even bottom opened. I picked it up and saw the price was $5 and quickly snatched it up. First time I've been lucky enough to find something that fits my collection and thought I'd share. Sometimes it pays to check out those 'off the wall' shops.

Wow, nice.

Whenever I check out the antique malls/stores/etc. I find the Billy, JR, etc., but nothing good. Certainly nothing that nice. Great pick up, Congrats!

Thanks gentlemen. Like most people I usually have to resort to ebay and online dealers to expand my collection so I was surprised to find this one in a little oddball shop in Northern AR. I already had the Jet and Leine, I just didn't crop them from the pic.
