Dan.... @CMD I was hoping somebody would have put a graphic Burgemeister composite together on day. There are so many variations out there.......

Re: NEVER NOTICED THIS BEFORE
Curious, what drives all the differences? I guess my thoughts are someone designs the label and that is the label....wonder why all the different variations sometimes? I do understand the different canner/plant markings ccc or canco etc... but not the design itself. Any thoughts
Interested in all flat and Cone Soda and Water cans.

Re: NEVER NOTICED THIS BEFORE
Obviously they had to add the litter statement on account of so dang many of those being thrown everywhere in the California countryside. Most of them are still there. That would make the one without the statement the older of the two. My variations of more common labels are not on display but I'm pretty certain I have that one and it's no big deal. They might have produced 10 billion or so of the one without the statement and 20 billion with, in which case the one without is 50% tougher.
The takeaway is with California cans in particular you have to always check for variations.

Re: NEVER NOTICED THIS BEFORE
One of the differences in some of these is the color of the coat and the flesh tone on Burgie. I'm sure some of that was caused by different canners, right??
