"Ok folks. We have a date and new location for the 2nd Spearman chapter show. Details are in the works. The show is on Feb 24th at the Spahr Brewery in Pensacola. We are working on a brewery tour Friday , and will have hotel info soon. There is a 5th brewery opening up really soon In downtown Pensacola also. The Spahr Brewery serves up some nice German brews. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending this one. I'm expecting a bigger show with lots of walk in traffic as well. I'll keep you posted.

It's nice to see a Florida show this winter but I think Pensacola may be closer to Dallas than S. Florida. How did this show go last year? I have found these shows to be hit and miss as far as my collecting goes, sometimes just a lot of 70's tabs and some rusty older stuff. I have nothing against rust or tabs it's just not what I collect.

Florida is the perfect place to have a wintertime show but more and more the hobby participation is decreasing. The Gator Traders still tries to do their best at getting a January show done. But at times can be hit or miss.

You ought to if you can. There are not many shows that close to the New Orleans area where you don't have to spend a full day driving to get there.
