Busch "Fishing Lure" Cans

#1

Post by dgcans »

I've had these cans for a little while now and I see them on eBay go for around $35-$50. I know it was a limited run but I don't get why people are paying that much for these. I'm not sure how many are in the set but I know there is more.Image

You've actually got parts of two different groups of cans there. The Largemouth Bass was part of a 4-can set that was out last year, along with Cutthroat Trout, Red Drum, and Sockeye Salmon. All four were also out in Busch Light, and the Largemouth Bass was out as a 25 oz. can in both Beer and Light--not sure if there are other 25 oz. cans, but I don't think so. The Jerkbait can was from 2013 and was a single can not part of a set. I think it may have been a contest can of some sort, but I'm not sure. I agree that they are not $35-50 cans! In fact, they were all readily available last year. As for Jerkbait, it might be worth a couple bucks but I'm not sure if it's worth more.

Having said all that, I never did find a Jerkbait can when they were out a couple years back, so let me know if you're interested in moving it out!

Here are the GAN numbers of both cans. The jerk bait is first and the bass is second.
