Found this at an antique store- "Birk's Trophy Beer"

Found this at an antique store-
I don't know much about it, besides the obvious.
It does NOT say Birk "Brothers".
I thought the "Birk's- Better- Beers" made it pretty cool, and perhaps old? but not sure.
I have misplaced my "American Breweries" book, which is the place I usually start research.
So, how old is it, and what kind of value does it have???
Any help here would be great.

I think that sign once hung in my basement, my ex-girlfriends' parents had a couple taverns in the Madison area, this was found at the old Woody and Ann's bar off East Wash. I think someone offered $75 due to condition-
I left it behind when I moved. Bjorn

That is my old sign, the adhesive squares on the back make the red on the front look touched up(square under Birks)- but it's not, the reverse paint is preserved under the sticky tabs. Nice to see an old friend- reminiscing, but not that much. Bjorn

Hey Neil- not sure on the date of that sign. It's old.
I bolted to Milwaukee a dozen years ago, been finding our old stuff in the area antique malls ever since. Bjorn
