I am not back down there for a couple of more weeks but I guess my place came through OK, didn't even lose power. Sorry to hear about the damage for others, I know it's not over for some of you for quite a while yet. Very relieved the East coast didn't take a direct hit but sucks that it is at the expense of the gulf coast.

Re: Keep some fellow RB Florida members in your thoughts as they brace for Irma
Finally power came back on earlier tonight. It was out for 8 days or which I was only here for 4 of them.
The amount of debris from my yard was massive. probably 75' at least long and over 5' high, I had a tall oak go down, a huge African palm get bent over where it as 9" in diameter, and another large tree that is partly out of the ground that should be cut down tomorrow, plus the oak stump is still in the yard - hope gone tomorrow soon. The thinning out of the vegetation in the neighborhood was likely good in the long run. I was not really fond of the three trees I lost so luckily lost the right trees
Life back to normal(ish) now. It will be normal when I get my cans back up!
