Yea....things got confusing. I just changed the name of this thread to "DISCUSS EBAY RESULTS HERE". I think archiving of significant ebay results is going to be important (or at least very helpful) in the future. However, if the thread with the results is peppered with lots of other chit-chat, it's going to sorta pollute the archive and likely make it less useful/helpful. I'm trying to create a nice, clean "library" in the reference section......and hopefully keep this thread going for the inevitable back-n-forth over the auctions. So, would be nice to have the auction in a stable place, that can be linked to or referenced here.....but here is where all the conversation should happen.

I wonder if the talented Mr. Bora @idigrust could create an option to a drop down menu under each ebay report for comments? Or perhaps an option to link to a thread for discussion of each can with the report post content migrated along with it.

I would be happy to manually put a link in the auction post toward the discussion topic......and the visa versa....put a link back to the reference post if Dan can't do something more clever.

I don't think you'd need to start a new topic for every listing. Most don't warrant discussion. Maybe if Dan can create a button that essentially "Creates new topic in the new Ebay Auction Disscussion Folder for this post". So there would only be a new topic created when someone has something to say about a listing. I don't know if this software is capable of that.

Perhaps the other, strictly factual thread could also be made a "sticky" so people find it as easily as they find this one. Of course, that could backfire too. Instead of lifting links and pictures from here, Rand may end up spending time cleaning discussion out of the other thread. We're an unruly bunch . . .

Oh, and I thought the Fort Pitt went a bit on the high side for the condition. I feel that way about a lot of eBay results nowadays, though. Most of the stuff I like goes 25 - 50% above what I want to pay.

Am I missing something on this can "schmidt city club beer can RARE GREEN empty can"?? I would have thought it was just a water damaged can that turned the yellow color to green.....$129.28

I'd nominate that can as ugliest can in the hobby if only I could find that thread again. It actually looks better with color gone.

Another very tough can listed and then ended early after having multiple bids. This was from the same new seller who has listed a string of "wall found" Renner and Koehler low pros.

Me too but his other cans have been in progressively worse condition, would be a huge find if there are several of these
