Yea, it's a $100 more than what you normally find these cans for.

I saw that one end early too. I sent the seller a note after he ended to the auction to ask if the can sold.

Of course it did, and of course I got no response.

Well the last time I asked a seller a question like that after a similar tough can disappeared I got a sarcastic response about how they had people over and someone stole it and they were so mad. I don't ask anymore.

The seller has sold other high end cans lately. Must have got a huge offer and preferred not to pay fees to ebay and paypal.

IF that is what happened here the seller is using ebay's service without paying for it, some might call that dishonest. I know some maybe don't see it that way, I am probably more annoyed with the buyer cutting those of us who play by ebays rules out but all I can do is add the seller to my list and not bid/buy from them. I don't know, I guess I just don't see why not just take your chances and bid but I am sure I am beating a dead horse on this topic around here.

speaking of the Senators last post, I see that the NorthStar chapter is requiring a tax related form to be filled out in advance of the next show for all people wanting a table. Is this becoming more common, or just a one-off?

I'm sure this Rainier Club went high because of the fact that it has the 3.2% alcohol statement on the rear.

Two guys wanted it real bad. Third high bidder was only at $52.00.

Only one I have seen besides the one that I have.

Tough variation!

He started it off at .99 cents & no Reserve & that's what Happens. Now if he started it off with a $100 opening bid he would of got no bids. but this way he gets twice as much. I know this from Experience. LEON.

Good question. If only someone somewhere would record notable ebay auctions like this, we could figure that out.....but alas....

That's the same can from the same seller back in July when it sold for $180. Looks like that sale may have gone south....... The can is a little beat up.
That's what is cool about Rands "Notable Ebay Auction" thread in the Beer Can Reference Forum...check it out.
