Some Rainier for a Sunday
Recently started to clean up my can room which has been a disaster since the Portland Canvention. Pulled off two rows of cans that were behind my PacNW cans for the Canvention and never got around to putting things back in order until now.
Here is the first days work.

Re: Some Rainier for a Sunday
The Exposition Ale came from "Premium Bill" Mugrage many years ago for $45. My last count was 4 (maybe 5) known (including your old one which I knew you had believe it or not) and a couple of those out there are damaged and not in good shape. Mine may be unique because it is an 11 oz. and the rest out there are all 12 oz. Knowing "Premium Bill" I would not be surprised if it was a prototypey test can as a close inspection of the label leads me to believe.Ceskydup wrote:Carl S wrote:Love the Exposition Ale!

I have always held off on getting the cones going. Always felt there were a lot of on grade ones out there and I would get them someday. All the ones I do have I dumped myself. Every time I think I am going to start picking the Rainier cones up....something else rare shows up and they get put off. I particularly would like to get the San Francisco Ale cone variations going.

Looks like 2 of them now....puts the count up to 5 or 6. You can always count on the Rusty Bunch to pop your "I may have the only one" bubble!foreigncanman wrote:Interesting our 12 oun ce one is wrapped on an 11 ounce can. Ipicked it up in Ohio about 20 years ago

Re: Some Rainier for a Sunday
Never heard of or have seen an Exposition Ale before.
They real? I would assume so from the comments.
What is the story about them? Flats? Tabs? Approximate year they were made?
So the books missed them completely?

Made for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. They are paper labels over Rainier Ale cans. Most were 12oz Ale's but apparently not all of them!stringsx24now wrote:Never heard of or have seen an Exposition Ale before.
