Anybody know how to do a search on eBay where you want to exclude a word in the description?

I'm having difficulty excluding words in my eBay searches when using an iPad.
For example, let's say you were looking for Kol cans but did not want to see any with Tacoma in the description.
Anybody know how?

Here's an example that excludes the last group:

(crosby, deerwood, ironton, princeton) (mn, minnesota) -(bing, stills, nash, university, nhl, sidney)

It design to take a town, state, and not any of the last crap that always come up in the search. Mixed results.

I use a minus sign to exclude words.

For instance kol -tacoma should bring up all results without tacoma in the description.

For some reason when using an ipad it seems like it is less effective?

I just ran it on Ebay in the beer cans US category came up with 14 items non of which had Tacoma in the description.
This was using my standard PC I don't have a Ipad to try it on.

Then I ran it without the minus and found 17 items first one with Tacoma

For some reason when using an ipad it seems like it is less effective?

Be careful not to use a space after the minus sign.
