About a year a ago I came across 2 twelve packs of Stag from an older gentleman. The first thing I noticed was that all the cans were full and I saw that they were juice tabs!Originally I thought both boxes were the same can but found out later that one case had different "pulls" than the other case. The can on the left is what I would consider the "common" juice tab or the "circle" tab, but the can on the right I had never seen a juice tab like it before. It has a triangular shape to it. The rest of the can is exactly the same. I picked out the best two examples out of the bunch for you to see. (the cans are about half full so most of the contents seeped out and messed up the cans) Has anyone seen any other can with this kind of juice tab? I'm sure there are more out there.

The triangle shaped pull tab on that insert top is relatively rare when compared to the ring tab pull. The actual top is different as well...the ring pull top is indented to fit the rounded shape of the ring. If the can came with the triangular shaped top it is not indented. So even if the tab is missing, you can still tell if it came with the ring or the triangular tab just by looking at the top.
I personally have never seen one with or without the tab intact but there have been some posts on this site of cans with this top.....I'll do some digging.

Tough can with a tough top!! Do you have a picture?

I have this cott can with the same juice tab. Not sure it's common or not. But this is the only soda can I saw with this Kind of juice tab.

That embossed can is definitely on my want list now as is that triangle juice tab top.

Here is fun stag I picked up many years ago. I don't know the story behind it or if they are rare or not, but it is a cool stag can. It has a Pringle's type lid, shrink wrap over the paper label and a T-shirt in it. I am assuming it was some type of contest can put in 12 packs?
