Question about the Horlacher/Perfection tabs
I have an ongoing discussion with a tab collector regarding the Horlacher & Perfection tabs. Now I will freely admit that I am NOT a tab collector except for the CO tabs. With that being said, he has a Perfection tab that I argue isn't legit. It has the full length Keglined panel with 3 patents along the seam, yet is a tab. Now in the flat top circles, that panel only went into the mid 50's. Am I missing something?

Re: Question about the Horlacher/Perfection tabs
I don't have the Perfection as a tab, it's a super tough one. I do have two Horlachers in the matching design, one one-sided and the other two-sided. I believe the one-sided Horlacher actually does have the Keglined panel with three patent numbers on it. I agree it's out of time, but maybe the brewery just didn't want to pay to put out an updated label. It is too cold and snowy right now (about 8 inches today) to go fish mine out of my barn ...

Re: Question about the Horlacher/Perfection tabs
Got it, thanks Keith. I guess it might be possible the brewery had pallets of unfilled cans they decided to use, even if they were 10 years old. I'll see what the consensus here is before I order my crow with barbecue sauce.

Re: Question about the Horlacher/Perfection tabs
I have felt for awhile now that USBC-1 was wrong on this one. It states what Scott said, only to mid 50's for the Keglined panel stated. However, besides this can there is also the Stroh's single sided zip with the same panel.
Here is the link to Chuck's amazing site showing the can and panel: http://www.mibeercans.com/Stroh/Stroh_p ... _84-18.htm
P.S.
Chuck, I apologize for linking your site without permission but I figured most on here have already visited it.
