New Chatroom

OK folks, let's give this thing a try, go over to the new homepage and click the chat link at the top, if you have not been there yet, please click the activate username thing when you first get on.

went to it. it just searches and searches. all the other pages come right up. do i need to download some sort of thing or should it just work?

When I tried it I didn't have the required permission.

I had to upgrade java but it works for me. See you Oct 30th.

For what it's worth, I tried it late last night using my Surface tablet and was able to get in. Just a quick hello to Dan, good job and good-bye! Don't recall the other person that Dan was conversing with...it was past my bedtime!

I think I am having an ID 10T error or a short between the seat and the keyboard on my end. Each time I click "home" it is as if I have not logged in when I get there. I clicked the "remember me" box, and then login. It auto navigates to the Forum page and when I click to go back to "home" so I can get to the chat, I am not logged in again. Clicking on chat does not prompt for credentials and I receive the message: You do not have the required permission to join chat. Guessing because I am not logged in at the Home page, but must be to post in the forum. I tried IE 11 and Firefox, cleared cache/history, restarted the browser and the same. Also, I do not allow the computer to save my password, only do that on my home computer. Either I am doing something wrong or I did not follow the directions correctly.

Clicked to use Flash instead of Java, got right in. Looks great! I was going to edit my post above, but decided to leave it just in case anyone else runs across this scenario, maybe this will help.

I was in last night with Dan ad Ed. Had to select the Flash option, but works great.
