Mike Tsolinas passed away

Folks, sorry to bring the bad news of Mikes passing last month. He had a long battle with a bone disorder while fighting that off he contracted West Nile virus unfortunately, with his low white blood cell count from treatment, it was just to much for his body to take.

For those who have met Mike he was an amazing father to his daughter Gabi! Always there for her. We used to go dumping together here in Vegas! He was a funny guy and loved by many people here! Everyone loved him as the channel 13 weather guy! I will miss him.

I have taken possession of Mikes collection and I have promised to put some of the cans in the auction portion of the rusty bunch page to help them out. All proceeds will go to Gabi's collage fund.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers!

Jerry....that is so sad to hear.......I had the pleasure of going out with Mike when I went out to Vegas (and digging with you and the wife of course).....he took me down some pretty scary paths with my Jeep rentals just to get out there and find some desert treasures.......Mike will be missed......

I never met Mike in person, but corresponded with him through P.M., e-mail, and phone many times. He had a very entertaining personality, which I am sure made him a natural on television. He was very passionate about the hobby. I know he was about my age, which is far too young to have to eulogize. R.I.P., My Brotha!

I never met him either but I corresponded with him quite a few times. As others have said he will certainly be missed, and WAY too young to leave us.

In addition to auctioning off cans, have you thought about a Go Fund Me page for his daughter?? I'd be happy to make a contribution to that ...
