I happened to see this article and then an old posting from Mike Wilbur http://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/vie ... er#p196006" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; so that to post it.....I can neither confirm or deny the existence of such a can....just what was in the article....

Philip Morris owned Miller Brewing Company. They tested a line extension in the early 70s. Dad worked for Continental Can Company. A few sheets of can blanks were lithoed for a packaging test — but Miller pulled the plug even before the testing started.

Thought it supported by this memo as well.....many other memos at the link to support the thought that cans and bottles existed......BTW if you notice the Rusty Bunch was referenced as a source under on of the photos on beer bottles in the 2d link.....Above: detail of photo from The Rusty Bunch....sweet
