Nude beer
I went to view a collection that is forsale and in amongst all these cans is this nude beer where you scratch off the bikini. Very unusual. Never seen such a thing. Is there much of a market for such an odd ball item??

Re: Nude beer
I think I saw on the handle of the case there are 50 different girls. In the early 90s Lakeport of Hamilton Ontario had a brand called Truely Naked. No girls on the label but a huge seller for the first few months on the market. Just think, Ole Frothingsloth could have taken it to the next level. Huge sales.....

Okay, a show of hands. Who clicked to enlarge the picture?

Re: Nude beer
I carried a couple of these bottles for ten years and nobody would give me anything for them. I finally got rid of them this year by putting them on the free table at the Monticello Show.

I wouldn't have, until you insisted on it ...Wrestling Nut wrote:Okay, a show of hands. Who clicked to enlarge the picture?
These were sold in about the late 80's/early 90's I remember. I would have to admit to being a little surprised to trying to trade/sell them and having NO interest in them ...

Re: Nude beer
Small article bottom left. Interesting started with nude design, and due to government had to come up with the scratch off idea.

Re: Nude beer
I have a few of those. I know it was sold in the late 80s / early 90s. I drank mine. Bought them here in Raleigh. Two different bottle styles. One style like Your picture. The other more traditional longneck style. Don't even remember what the beer tasted like. If I saw others at a show or something. I would give a couple bucks per bottle for them. No idea what they are actually worth.

Re: Nude beer
I agree on the 80's dates because we drank some during my high school years. Like someone else said not worth much if anything but hey who can resist at least looking at them...
