Sadly I was unable to pull up the original article and since they wanted an additional $139 for access to additional newspapers I was only able to provide this little tidbit.....it was from the Detroit Free Press (yeah ironic) from a Tuesday 4 August 1936 posting that provide context into when the first Goebel can was ever produced.....

Also have these little brass signs. I think there is a third one that I still need. Don't know a date on them. Maybe pre-pro? My guess is they would have hung behind a bar or at the cash register.

Not an Actual sign but certainly the one and only Goebel Name Plate from the Brewery Elevator, it's about 1 inch by 3 inches.
