Re: BCCA Books for Future Prizes
Wow! That is really cool of the BCCA! Great idea for the first 3 sets. Always more shows in the future or maybe given as an award to a deserving member or contributor who does not already have a set. Be nice to see someone who maybe otherwise could not afford a set put them to good use.

Re: BCCA Books for Future Prizes
For my two cents, these books are an essential reference tool. Extremely cool of the BCCA to donate them.

Re: BCCA Books for Future Prizes
I agree with you 100%. Anybody who is even reasonably serious about this hobby needs to have this set. Mine are still packed up and I am missing them.Dixie Dave wrote:For my two cents, these books are an essential reference tool. Extremely cool of the BCCA to donate them.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Re: BCCA Books for Future Prizes
For the other sets I would suggest to give them to the top two sellers of the most cans on the RB Auction Site in the month of December.

Re: BCCA Books for Future Prizes
I'd suggest a newbie that does not have them should get them. I assume any top seller would already have these? LEON.

I have both, but if I would win one or two, plan on donating to the local library.kamsquared wrote:For the other sets I would suggest to give them to the top two sellers of the most cans on the RB Auction Site in the month of December.

Re: BCCA Books for Future Prizes
Let's get these books to people that need them.
Currently in a collecting funk. Waiting for the bug to bite again to get back into collecting some type of cans, on a small, affordable level.

Agree. Wish my library as a kid had a copy of BCU for me to check out and drool.
