Finally finding time to post. My first Western States can show, and had a great time! We flew out so I was only able to bring a case of cans to trade or sell. Picked up a couple of upgrades. Well, it turned out that the Heritage is not an upgrade, but it oughta make a good trader I suppose. The Hapsburg is the blue post WW-II instructional, and a pretty tough can (Thanks Mike!).
One of the reasons that I went to the Vegas show is because I also wanted to hike Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks in southern Utah. So Marion and I rented a car and stayed an extra few days after the show. These are places that everyone should see at least once this lifetime. Just stunning, and only a two hour drive from Vegas to Zion and another couple of hours to Bryce. As an added bonus, the beers at Zion Canyon Brewery were surprisingly good!
Go to the Vegas show next year and then spend a few extra days goofing off in southern Utah!
