Leon, Mike,

First, I missed Leon's question on the Kamm's. I assume the version without the copyright was first, but one can't be sure about these things. Either way, that one is "first" in my photo and is the tougher can by far.

As Leon noted, I have both versions of the schoolhouse Old Milwaukee. The "long mandatory" can, with "Brewed And Packaged By" and with "Company" instead of "Co." is harder to find in dumper condition. Poking around dealer sites tonight and looking at sold cans suggests that it is tougher indoor also.

Yes, I was referring to 107-23 when I wrote of a green and white can. It is very scarce ongrade. I believe it was issued after 107-24 and was a short-lived can due to the war. I remember Dave Lewandowski calling me and telling me that he had just picked up a Schlitz propeller can that was painted over a Pabst full-length opener can. That made no sense at all, so I went over and looked at it and it was actually painted over a 107-23 Old Milwaukee.

The only non-IRTP cans I collect are pre-IRTP and Bock OI's, not that I have any of the latter yet, so I don't have to worry about 107-25, LOL. I've been told that it is unique, though.

I made an interesting discovery perusing sold cans on eBay tonight. The can shown below is a paper label can that looks very much like 107-23, but it's dated 1958 and lists "Old Milwaukee Brewing Company.". This was in a group of four Old Milwaukee cans listed as a Buy It Now at $100. The buyer, apparently crazy, took the time to submit a $75 best offer and wait for a response rather than jumping on it at $100.

Actually, the only Clear Cokes were produced during WW2. From 1915 + all Cokes were Aqua or different shades of aqua & some were a light blue. Pre 1915 some came in Amber. LEON.

Here's a new one for me. I received this Wednesday May 8th, after work. Drove by a Detroit Construction site & found this one 99% buried in a dirt pile. It's a Faygo Hutch Bottle. Faygo first started out as Feigenson Bros. in 1907 & this is there very first Bottle from that time frame. Rare bottle & a variation I was looking for, for many years. Couldn't even find one to buy. Better yet dug this one for FREE

Saying I wish I could find it, Then not finding it, Leaving & walking to the car all bummed out & discouraged could not find it, Then I stop to see what a small microscopic piece of glass is & it turns out to be IT  Thing is, That little piece of glass could of literally been any one of a million different piece's of glass or bottles possible. The chance of it being it was one in a million. Maybe I better play the Lottery, maybe my luck is changing  LEON.

Walker’s Royal Crown Beer from Centerline (Detroit) Michigan.
They were in business from 1934-1940.
I’ve never seen anything from this brewery until this bottle came up on eBay recently.

For the price it sold for I got alot of different Walker Labels I could sell you. I know the guy that sold that bottle, a Friend of mine, I was not convinced it was legit on that bottle but possibly recently glued or added to that bottle since it's missing the neck label & no sign a neck label was ever there. The Brewery still stood a few years ago as a ABC Warehouse Appliance Store & now tore down & replaced with a storage lot I think, It's only 3 miles from my house & I drive by it all the time. Anyways, Congrats, Nice tough Label. LEON.

That’s always my concern when I’m buying any bottle. Is the bottle original to the label.
I do like that the label has a patina and both are dirty along with wear to the edges, so if I had to bet I’ld say it was all original but who knows until another one shows up.
EDIT
I did notice the early Regal bottles from Canada did not use neck labels either. Maybe a little cheaper to manufacture.
