Thanks to my plasma, my wife and I just returned from a two week vacation in Peru, during which, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. In addition to traditional souvenirs, I brought these back. I kept them full and came prepared with a box that had individual padded sections for beer cans, so they traveled well.

I saw this in a shop one day. Budweiser does not seem to be very popular down there so I was surprised to see this. Cusquena seemed to be the most popular beer I saw.

And it is even Wednesday. Originally found in a Hartford CT building being demolished. I believe this to be period to the sticker can Narragansett zips.

Comic can soda? Never heard of it but I would DEFINITELY have bought that as a kid! As a matter of fact, if I collected soda cans, they would be at the top of my list. Extremely cool!!!

Don’t think it’s suoer rare or worth a lot; however this variation is not in the book and I don’t have any other cans with that type of pull tab. What is this type of pull tab called?

Found it in the old Jack Martels Beer Can Bible. This lid is not listed in Dave’s Soda book and based on the description it appears this may be a tough can to find bottom opened. Anyone have one that has been opened so I can see what it looks like.

Every time I try to take a break from buying for a few months, something I can't ignore pops up.

It has a new lid, but I think I can live with that on this can.
