Just got this can (even though it's Sunday) from a guy that's demolishing my old deck. When I asked him if he ever finds old beer cans, he shows up a half hour later with this. Traded him a split label Bud 16 for it. Said he's got more, so we'll have to wait to see what else he's kept.

Since you made a trade with him, would I be safe in assuming he is a collector? If so, be sure to tell him about this site.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

He said he collects the stuff he 's found. He had mentioned a split label 12 oz. Bud he had, so I figured why not offer him a matching 16 oz. can. Now when he finds more cans, he'll contact me.

Now that's the way to find cans! Just letting people know in your circle of influence is a seriously great way to come up with cans. Occasionally, sometimes, here and there... some really good ones.

Good for you Scott. I'd keep in contact with that guy.

This arrived in the mail today. It's a good day any time I can get something from the Fox Deluxe brewery during its time in Grand Rapids. This is a lighter which I assume salespeople probably handed out to customers.

found this during my fishing expedition yesterday buried in a small town shop for cheap, and it could be categorized under the 'metal container that once held beer' clause in my collecting habit. Bjorn

No , it wasn't Olivedrabshow (who is ODtins on this forum) who was selling this one, I was the only bidder with a starting price of $100

I received these today. I don't normally collect bottles but these were important to me because they are each from Grand Rapids. The middle one says "Sturdily Brewed" instead of "Velvet Smooth."

I think it is for three pairs of people. I can imagine a park with three horseshoe pits and this would cover the scores for all three games. If not horseshoes, maybe shuffleboard? I do not know much about how the scoring works for that either.
