Sweet and in great condition. It has a brother Horlacher I think. Not sure which is the tougher can?

That’s why I have always been curious of this can. As a kid collecting in the early 70’s south of Boston we always used to find roached Horlacher tab tops and when I first saw a Perfection which appears at first as identical I was somewhat confused. LOL! Anybody know the history/story behind this relationship? Was Perfection a limited edition or something?

Very informative! Thanks so much. Love learning something new like this. One question for anybody: I noticed that the Kappy’s cans were brewed in Allentown at both Horlacher and at Old Dutch; also, Bonanza was brewed at Old Dutch. Did Horlacher brewery change it’s name?

Today's additions. Some new cans for the Indiana collection. A few super clean examples. The Schmidt's is a Clay Tichelar can, almost Mercier-like, the best I've seen. Kopper Kettle is my old one; a Rob Skalla can via Drewrys Bob. Some nice caps on these... All acquired from Mr. Synko. :toothy7:

The Kopper Kettle is very impressive. There can't be too many around as nice as that one.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan

There used to be a collector's website that pictured a find of 10 or 12 Kopper Kettles. I last saw the website about 10 years ago. Doesn't seem to exist anymore. I'm guessing the find was from years back, even at that time. The cans all looked to be in good condition. Beyond that I don't have a lot of information on the can.

There is another Kopper Kettle variation that I think is tougher then this one. I had a mint one years ago but seemed very hard to sell, nobody wanted it. LEON.

A little bit of everything is right. Quite the eclectic group. Very nice.

Any day you can add 31 new cans to the shelf is a good day. Congrats!

Some nice cans Clarkston. Heres a new can I picked up today, Wednesday. Fox Deluxe Quart. But not just any Fox Deluxe Quart, The Grand Rapids 4% on seam version. Really surprised nobody tried to outbid me on ebay? either it flew under the Radar or I paid to much for a POS? Leon.

Nice pick up Leon. I saw that and wondered who got it. I got Alex's when he sold or I would have been on it.

The unexpected items was the RC Cola golf can and this boxed item. Complete surprise. Basically complete sample package as handed out to distributors at the time of a new label change. Much appreciated and I will pay Rand's generosity forward.

I'm not familiar with those 2 variations but I am familiar with the 3rd variation that sez From Schlitz on the front instead of Pale Gold. Been told the from Schlitz on front variation is tougher. the 2 you have are nice & clean, hard to find metallic cans like that that clean. Congrats & welcome to the site. LEON.

Yes, the one that says “From Schlitz” is far tougher. Just wasn’t aware of two variations of this version.

Thanks for the response.
