Nice grab Leon, that is a super tough can, I almost pulled the trigger on the buy it now when I saw it but was looking at it on my phone and decided to check back later and lost track of it. I think you are the second long term collector here who has said they have been after that one for years.

Nice can Leon.

I'm actually surprised that no one grabbed it at the buy-it-now. It would have been gone, had I needed it. You patience paid off and you got it for cheaper, good for you.

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, got it cheap compared to the other (nicer) offgrade one that sold recently for $350. LEON.

10. Aloha Lager contract brewed by G.Heileman, Portland, Oregon for Maui Brewing Company (No relation to the current one)...The true GEM of the whole lot. Prior to this week I knew of 2 of these.....seems like maybe Beer can Pete has one? I had the other. I paid close to a hundred for mine. I considered this aluminum can the rarest can (in terms of number known) for both Hawaii and for Oregon and maybe even G. Heileman. I say this including all flats, cones, tabs, etc. until a seller on ebay listed one recently. I bought it. Sent him an email asking him about them and he had 2 more that he sold me. He had already sold 2 prior on ebay but I never saw the listings they sold so fast. That makes a total of 7 total known now and four are all locked away in collections ...the other three I will be putting up individually for sale or trade on this site first...then back to ebay if no takers. Covers many collections with one can..Hawaii, Oregon, Heileman...
11. Two Black Label Lighter cans
Hey Eric

Pokey had this one from a while back; supper tough; was always on the look for one (sorry I did not think you needed this). I was one of the lucky ones that got some Aloha a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for posting!
Michael
I have an Aloha Lager. I didn't know it was *that* rare, although I had been looking for one since I saw an example in a can collection displayed at a bar in Arkansas a few years prior to getting it. I got it in a huge pile of cheap tabs somewhere. I have to be pretty bored to go through those piles at a show, but it certainly can pay off.

New member today. I am going through 6 pallets of cans I bought on impulse (13,000), a lot of cans like this.

You can see in the background, I am hanging a lot of cans. Couldn't spend thousands on shelves so am using curtain clips to hold them.
With all the rust on these I figured I better be a member here. I am only hanging tabs or earlier, and will have a nice bunch of duplicates for target shooting.

couple new variants on the 16s this week thought I'd list

Had the Tacoma Sixteen in a Zip - then got the flat. Zip is 8 City, Flat is 7 City. Fort Worth is the added City
Tacome BL's.JPG
Favorite add of the week - the white Miller Azusa 16oz fan tab is not all that common to start with - but picked up the older version that doe NOT have Union Made in green upper left on label - mine had the union made on it. Seems Miller transitioned to having this on their labels while the white can was out as all the gold cans I've see have it, and the older white cans do not

Mine is different - has blue line top and bottom, glad you got that one. The Miami version like yours was sold by same guy - that must be a tough can!

Don't think I've ever posted in here before and it's only Tuesday but I finally put a bucket list can on the shelf. Other than the completely unobtainable Sol and XX flats, this is hard as it gets from Mexico.

I got this high pro to go on with my LP Erlanger's this morning. In the book the green/yellows seem lighter on the HP, I know there is some fading here but for those that have seen more of these how off color is it? Just need the matching quarts now.

I think that the slight color difference may be due to the fact that the high profile can had two runs, one with a straight seam and one with a tooth seam. Both are CCC-22.

Nice grab on the Erlangers'. I looked at it but just didn't have the cash to buy it.

There are actually 3 variations of the Erlanger HP. 1 Pre War and 2 Post War variation.

-Pre War, 7 tooth seam, canning code 8-41.
-Post War, 7 tooth seam, canning code CCC 22.
-Post War, 5 mini teeth (straight), canning code CCC 22.
