Can't help but notice that Marc's and Rand's pick ups are both Bock cans and both slightly faded. Same source or just coincidence??

Same source.....recent find from a 1930s American Can Co. Plant 17 employee. Were some killer cans in the find.....suspect the whole story will come out at some point.

Yea....you can't rotate it in the form after you upload.....you have to do it on your computer and then re-upload it....which is what I did. :-)

It would appear that you enjoy some kind of "preferred customer" status, so I should probably thank you for passing on the Doelger. The Trommer's would have been of great interest also, but the Doelger was higher on my list.

Posting here since the discussion started here......going to boldly step out and release the pictures I saw of the find. Most amazing part of it was, what I believe to be, the 3rd Leibmann's now known! Also a very cool Neuweiller's Bock and Gunther's Ale. Anyway, drool over these fellas! :-)

Rand, you obviously failed to remember this little gem when it comes to O/I bock cans. No apology necessary for your embarrassment about the oversight....

Agreed, and I'm uncertain on both counts. One thing I am certain of is that the Gibbons Bock is the finest conetop I've seen. Pictures don't do it justice.

Ahhh....there you go. Might add "most unique bock".....and "best graphic design" To those, I would go:

Coolest Goat - Doelger Bock (second place Krueger Bock)
Coolest Can - Gibbons Bock
Best Graphic - Esslinger Bock
Most Unique Bock - Gotta be the Bally Bock OI.....No goat to be found!

Happened to pick up this Golden Age 166-12 cone top....Jim (Conehead) indicated that he actually had the rough book can that is pictured. He was able to upgrade to a decent indoor one and has seen several others available since then.

Keith, That rough book can was 1 of 41 from my collection that made the book. Jim can confirm that it came from me. Wonder where it and the other cones pictured from my old collection ended up?
Look in the book at 151-9, 156-6, 163-1, 164-14, 165-24, 166-5, 169-29, 170-19, 192-19, 192-31, 205-16, 208-17, 219-14. Yep all mine a long time ago. Now is other collections.
