This baby just showed up in the mail yesterday and I soaked it today. Nice EBAY pickup for less than $20. Notice it is the impossible BRAND variation. Wasn’t sure how it would clean, but felt I needed to take the shot. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the results!! You just never see the BRAND variation.

Nice can. Nice job on the clean up. Wish I had noticed that on ebay. I have over 125+ different Heidelberg's at last count and I don't have that one. Your "Brand" variation and the "Du Fine" variation are two that have escaped my shelves so far.

Came across this old newspaper today. How it ended up in Colorado is beyond any guess I can make. Pretty cool though.

Can you remember where you were on Sunday October 19th, 1980?
Stu Sturgis BCCA26555, born in 1928, uses the ebay name halfbeak352 now selling his cans and coins could.
He went to the Italian American Hall in West Haven, Conn, to a beer can show, that had Miss Olde Frothingslosh in attendance.

I've had the paper label can for the event for over 25 years. Was lucky enough to add Stu's post card for the event and 2 autographed cans from the event. What better provenance than those items, from someone who attended that show.

And the items did arrive on Wednesday.

Did you clean both the inside and the outside or did you get those results by only cleaning the outside? You mentioned a stick so I assume you cleaned the inside also. If you did, it seems like that would be a difficult and time consuming process. How long did it take you?

An easy way to loosen up and/or remove dirt is to pour in some pea gravel, fill about a third with water, and shake vigorously. What dirt still remains can usually then be removed with a bottle brush.

I assume that is NOT Mark from Indy's can that was recently on Ebay? If it is the same can, you improved the rub out immensely.

It's the old style tab, I believe some call it the U-Tab or U-Top with pull ring instructions instead of pull tab. about 1965. LEON.
