#1

Post by GansettLover »

I can not find this can in the Tap Top book anyone seen it before?

eBay only has Chicago Il cans listed.

This is Newark NJ

Tag on bottom says June 1968

Common can?

Thanks,

It is listed in the USBC II book. It's number 088-08. I do think it is a tougher version than most of the Chicago ones. There is one very tough Chicago one that has been discussed here before, but I always forget which one it is.

It is listed in the USBCII as 88/8 with a value of $20. You can usually find them on eBay for around $10 or so.

By the way, why did Feigenspan (P.Ballantine) produce this brand? Could Meister Brau's two plants not keep up with demand? Why did Ballantine use the Feigenspan pseudonym instead of using Meister Brau? Why no regular Meister Brau from Feigenspan?
