USBC update?
Was just wondering if anyone knew if photos were still being accepted for the flat/cone top suppliment for Vol1? Sent a few pics of some cans not listed and have not gotten any response from any of the three people I sent photos to. Have more cans to photograph but if no more pics are being accepted, I won't waste my time photographing them. Copperhead

Re: USBC update?
Chip,
I did receive them. Bruce Gregg is the lead for the project, and I believe he is on vacation.
In any event, John Page or Bruce will probably provide a bunch of advice regarding getting the pictures exactly right. I know it took a while before they were happy with what they were getting from Eric Claussen.
At the very least, you are providing a service with respect to identifying cans that need to be added. Jim Wolf should have a locked and loaded photo box by the end of the year, and he can start taking pictures of cans in east coast collectors hands. I know I have a *bunch* of cans (mostly tabs) that aren't in the books.

Re: USBC update?
Part of your question insinuates that they will only be taking updates for a while. I thought the digitization of the book would allow for updates as they come in whenever. Is that not the case?
Thanx.
Thanx.

Re: USBC update?
Jerry,
Beacuse it is an online project, the USBC update will never truly be finished. At some point, there will be a major push to get *most* of the new variations and upgrades photographed, but there is no doubt that additional variations will continue to be discovered.
