Canadian crimp steel

#1

Post by roosterman »

Curt and I were discussing crimp steel in Canada. It is a bit if a rarity as only a few brands were put in crimp. It seems to me this was a west coast thing as I have never seen crimp in the East. Here is a pic of what is on my shelf. Someone mentioned they thought Molson export was as well in crimp. I also notice the budweiser can is a bit taller.

Those cans have got to be super tough, especially the Molson Light--never saw that one before. Got to pull my extra Canadian steel cans out of the barn to check ...

This thread created a bit of off forum discussion. It would seem the crimp Budweiser is a never seen before can. Not even author of the latest Canadian catalogue has seen it. It has been on my shelf for years. I can't even remember where I got it. One of those things that makes you go hmmmmm. Who knew?
