For those that know what twitter is, help a brother out. Should we follow every person? just other chapters? chapters and brewery's? everything?
If you are not familiar with twitter, pretty please, don't vote.

Re: This Twitter Feed
Yeah, I dont "tweet" either. Facebook is plenty of social network for me. Besides this site of course.

Re: This Twitter Feed
You should add 2 options - I don't follow Twitter and do not add Twitter. Those will show how much interest there is. Personally, I do not tweet, but if I did, I would like to set my connections on my own. I might want a listing of links to those items.
My 2 cents.
My 2 cents.

Re: This Twitter Feed
In my view if the Rusty Bunch has some one who wants to maintain the the feed then it should jump in with both feet. A lot talk about the future of the hobby and I don't know one way or another what it will look like in 10 to 15 years but one thing I know is if you want to reach a younger audience then twitter is the place to be until the next social network fad comes along. Heck my kids don't even really use Facebook anymore , they and their friends have all moved to communicating via twitter.

Re: This Twitter Feed
Agree with Curt and llafoe - Twitter takes really very little time to manage and for those not familiar, it's basically an ongoing conversation limited to 140 characters or less per 'tweet'... Not too complicated but if you're just not interested then I think it's better to focus on what you enjoy. Those that care, keep reading: Hashtags (eg. #beercans #prohibition) are ways to link conversations together. Any time someone tweets they can 'copy' twitter handles (@RustyBunch) if they want that handle to see their post as it shows in their 'mentions' feed. As for who to follow, Twitter etiquette is to follow back anyone that follows you unless they are a marketer, a bot or someone you just have no interests in following. It is common for major Twitter users to 'unfollow' those that don't follow back. An individual can follow up to 2000 users or no more than 10% more than follow you (I think that's correct). If someone doesn't follow me back, but I want to make sure I keep up with what they have to say, I add them to a 'list' and then unfollow them if I'm near my limit. I create lists for Twitter handles that cover similar interests (Breweriana) and then you can click on that specific list and see all of the recent tweets from all of those handles within the list. I'm in sales so I follow many sales twitter feeds and can review them all at one time just by hitting the list... One last thought, if you're trying to grow interests in something, like our hobby, as an example, then being 'retweeted' RT sends your tweet to the twitter feed of all of that persons followers. So, if @RustyBunch gets a RT from me, which just happened, it goes to 2,021 Twitter users feeds. Social media can be pretty powerful for getting the word out on something like beer can collecting, etc.
