Juice Tabs

I've dumped some of those juice top "tabs", but they were toasty so it could have been soda.

Unlike zips, juice tabs never had any design changes to the lid that I'm aware of.

I've never seen one in person, but the Beer Can Collector's Bible shows a juice tab with a zip-like tab, not a ring pull. Does anyone have a bottomed opened example on a beer can?

This is the guy I'm looking for. You should be able to tell if it was a pull tab version even if not intact......no indentation in the top like the pull ring.

Thanks, Chip, for working this list up. I'm trying to catch up with the composite activity I've missed in the past several months and I think this is a great effort.

Seems that a lot of juice tabs on beer turned up in the south. I've come across quite a few in MS and AL. I can't remember ever finding any in the midwest, though the Adler Braus and Oconto (pictured previously) are proof positive that somebody was using them.

Geo. Walter, Oconto, Meister Brau, Chief Oshkosh, Warsaw, Carling (Belleville), Burger and Hudepohl were the Midwest juice tab users.

Yep, the 2 cans on the end are the ones I'm looking for. Let me know if you have any more. I just need the tops......the labels are incidental. I'll take one without the tab intact but would prefer the ones with an intact tab.
