1,000 Pints of beer in the car, 1,000 pints of beer...
Ok, I'm getting old. I'm slipping. I only got 1,000 pints in the car. I had to go back for the last 200. Yes, I'm busy with pints between now and Canvention. Pints, everywhere pints. Here a pint, there a pint, my floor is covered with pints.
Better to drive 950 miles and kick asz than go a thousand miles and get nothing.

Re: 1,000 Pints of beer in the car, 1,000 pints of beer...
I'll double check on the Manchester. there are so many good cans in here I can't remember them all. Haven't gotten to Lone Star tabs yet, tho there was an unlisted Falstaff flat from New Orleans.
It's all US, Mr. Aussieguinness. I saw one Falcon 450 from Europe and that's it for international stuff. I like ur tubes down under, although those suckers had to glug pretty badly? My two trips there all I ever got was the regular tinnies and the last few 750's they had in 1990. although a buddy and I did split a Darwin stubby at one point.
The Mellow Yellow is really sharp. I'd never handled one before, when I pulled it out of the box I saw the back side first, which says Premium Beer, and I thought I had an unknown Soul can for a few hours until I spun the can to grade it. Doh!
Yes, THAT goebel is in there. It's the one with the extra verbiage in the volume statement. The other Goebel is the basic metallic red with the black highlighting.
The cool thing is that this was all collected pre-eBay so there's tons of sleepers in there. My job is to find them! None of these were photographed for any of the books, which is too bad given the variations and upgrades. There are even some rolled Chicago pints, which I assume came from Phil P's flat sheet find back in the 70's. Anybody familiar with those cans?
I'll start putting up teaser pics in a week or two when I get them all into a spreadsheet or three. Any info on rare variants would be appreciated!
And yes, Kelly, there are plenty of clean Maiers in here. Even one with a Grace Bros. mandatory and a Maier lid but I'd have to dig back into the pile to find it. I'll let you know.

No score or find, just a consignment from a local collector who's not going to Canvention. White Gluek? Dunno, haven't found the box with the G's yet.

No Manchester flat. Only halfway through the SS tabs so I don't know yet on that one.
Yeah, Kelly, the Alpine and the Regal you mentioned are in there, but they're not 1+. Once I get it all in a spreadsheet I'll be asking...

Nope, no Manchester. Sry.
I'll bring everythign I can price by Charlottesville. I'm not gonna get to all of it.
Only the basic Carling ML zip, b/o, mint. None of the tougher black ones.

No red Altes pint, just a couple white ones.
There are several offgrade New Orleans Falstaff flats and tabs if I remember right. Tough to price stuff liek that.
