50's Budweiser in Quart cans?

Postby Onefineday on July 22nd, 2010, 12:42 am

I'm sure this picture has been tampered with in some way but if so they sure did a good job of it. The cans even appear to be casting shadows consistent with a light source being behind, above and to the left of the photo taker.

The bud photo says July of 56 on it - what did Buds look like in 56?

Those arent Qts, the tray is just closer than you think. Compare the size of the cans with the pack of smokes on the tray...or maybe thats a pack of cigars? :smt017

Yes, its just the proximity of the cans to the lens makes them appear larger than they are.

Thanks,

That's an old fisherman's trick. You always hold your catch outward towards the camera to make it appear larger. And remember, you always want to date a girl with small hands!!!!
Looking for any zips and other odd tab or ring pulls.

Need Schmidt zips: Deer, Mallards, Ice Fishing, Colt & Elk

Cleveland-Sandusky cans and breweriana.

I've seen the bumpy girl picture for years now and today was the first time Ive ever noticed how the boards in the fence make a pine tree when they are side by side
I dump cans and cars, if you find old cars & trucks while dumping, please let me know.

When I went to NCSU I worked at UPS loading trucks. We had a FINE female supervisor on the line across from us, lets just say when she went to bend over to look at packages my slide would back up and my supervisor would come over in a heat and I would just point. He understood. I met her yrs later in a bar and she remembered me because I would wear a weightlifting mucle shirt and a bandana. She was about to get married so no good ending to the story.

Thanks almost
Uncle Dave
